We spent a week in Mexico and the main item we brought back was tequila and lots of it! We didn’t go to many bars, but we did spend time in a bar in Mexico and sadly they didn’t have a bar snack.

We wanted to watch Carnival in Cozumel, so we staked out a spot on a second floor bar. We can’t remember the name now, but it’s right across from the ferry. We knew it would be touristy so we didn’t expect much. The choice was for the viewing point, not the food.

Again, driven by the excess of an ingredient, I made Basil Lime Sorbet. Whenever I buy basil, I get way more than I need, but I hate wasting the beautiful and aromatic herbs. I found this recipe and it seemed like fate. I had an abundance of limes too.
