I mentioned that I got Ronnybrook Ice Cream from the Farmer’s Market…we tried it yesterday during our Mother’s Day Dinner. The general concensus was that the vanilla wasn’t very notable, but the Toasted Hazelnut was great. I would prefer a tad less sweet but I still really enjoyed it.
The real highlights are: it’s hormone, pesticide, and antibiotic free, and supports a local farm, so I will likely try many more flavors. At $4 per pint in Manhattan, it’s a pretty good price too.

toasted hazelnut sounds yum!
That looks fabulous…
I love reading NYC food blogs, they always bring back such great memories. I forgot about Ronnybrook now that I’m out in Berkeley. I never tried their toasted hazelnut, but it sounds great.
The ginger creme brulee is great also. You should give that one a try on your next visit.
