I'm Jessica, an Asian-American, born and raised in NYC, and that's Lon, my Jewish, white husband. While professionally trained as a French culinary- and pastry chef, many of FoodMayhem recipes are my attempt to preserve and share authentic Chinese and Taiwanese recipes learned from my mom. We don't eat Chinese food every day, so you'll get a little bit of anything we find delicious enough to share: from our Eastern European side; recipes and techniques learned from my restaurant days; restaurant reviews, food travel tips; and a few other juicy bits along the way. We drank a 2007 Chilean Carmenere from Concha y Toro vineyard’s Casillero del Diablo wines.
This is a good beginner red: light, a bit sweet, and very fruity, and inexpensive (we paid $9.99). It smells wonderfully fruity as well. We both found it a little bitter on the finish though.

If it’s bitter, try drinking it with a saltier food – it’ll help cut the bitterness.

certainly like your web site but you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the reality however I will certainly come again again.
