lost, sorry for the delayed response. I was out of town and still catching up...I don't really know since I'm not in Jersey much but I think they used to be there daily. It's a small area where the trucks generally park so if you asked some of the people in the area, they'd probably know.

I've only tried Krave and Lucinda and liked them both for their convenience, price, and fairly rapid service.

hello all. I used to eat here few times, especially those tired days after work. Never had a clue these places could be so yuck !
I hope you read the recent article about Banana Leaf:
http://www.nj.com/news/jjournal/jerseycity/index.ssf?/base/news-9/1263367565121180.xml&coll=3

Some key phrases from the article to whet your appetite:
"We found mouse and rat droppings on the storage shelves where they were storing seasonings, rice and different food products"

"There were even mice droppings in the containers with food. They had a glass-door refrigerator. But the glass door was so grease-laden you couldn't see inside"

Great pictures of the food. Lots of variety in food types.
I use the Taco Loco iPhone app to track food trucks. Anyone here use it?

I personally can't compare to the other food trucks, b/c Krave's the only one I've tried so far, so they may be equally as good. They're not on Columbus as regularly as the Krave, so I first tried it out of convenience. So I've been getting food from them for the past few weeks now and I have to say...I'm addicted! I agree the soft tacos could be a little larger, but then again you can't really buy anything these days for $2.50, so no complaints here. You definitely get your money's worth though with the kimcheedillas. You'll have to wait around for a few minutes after you order while they cook them, but I believe that's better than the alternative if they were pre-made and just kept warm. I usually get off the Path around 9 and so I'm rushing to the truck before they run out of food!

Side note: I love Jersey City for the abundance of so many ethnic food choices (and being a lot calmer than the city)...it really is a (fairly unknown/hidden) gem.

Wow, seems like there's drama going on here. I just googled The Krave truck and after a few clicks I ended up here.

Regardless of the back-and-forth between the different camps, I have to say that I am a new fan of The Krave. My wife recently started bringing home these nice little treats and they are so full of flavor! I do wish, however, that they were a little bigger. I can eat these suckers with two bites!

Keep up the great work guys!

Btw, let's keep it classy people and enjoy all the great eats! There's enough hungry people to go around!

Much love,
