I just got home from the Hellmann’s press event, where Billy Ray Cyrus helped announce their support of Feeding America.

You can go to the Hellmann’s facebook page and build your own virtual sandwich. For every scrumptious sandwich you make, Hellmann’s will donate 7 lunches to Feeding America. For every friend on facebook you share it with, Hellman’s will donate an additional 7 lunches to charity. They had little kiosks at the event for you to try it on and I have to admit, it was actually kind of fun to build virtual sandwiches.

I got to chat briefly with David Grossnickle (Food Band for NYC) and Shannon Babuto-Lewis (City Harvest) and was happy to know that the big display of food (with tons of Hellmann’s Mayo) on stage was all going to City Harvest.
