I cooked this years ago for a girlfriend on a very early date. I wanted someething that tasted great, was fairly easy to cook and looked impressive on the table. Something with a bit of 'wow' to it. I wanted to cunningly create the impression that I was both a 'new man' and some sort of creative food genius.

It worked. Kind of.

We've got two kids now, and we've been married for coming up to ten years. But I have to cook most of the time.

When I protest, I'm often reminded by J of that fish and the impression it made on her. Well, you can't win all the time.

Holy fish! this is one of my fav way to prepare fish, EVER. It is just SO flavorful with minimal ingredients to let the freshness and sweetness of the fish really shine through. I MISS this, I haven't had it in years! Must bother my mom to get me some fresh fish now!
